For 2024's Holiday Coffee we've chosen, a beautiful Ethiopia Guji Gubeta, Gr 1 Organic. This lot was produced and hand harvested by a high-profile producer and exporter of Organic Specialty Coffee. Farming methods in the Guji region remains largely traditional and few steps are mechanized even during processing. At the mill, the cherries are sorted and then spread on raised beds to dry, raked frequently to ensure consistency. Rugged and steep terrain supported by warm days and cool nights contribute to Guji's reputation for unique profiles and exceptional quality.

I love lone tree coffee! I found them randomly one summer at a fruit stand in Summerland and thought I'd try it. I've struggled to find a coffee that is delicious every cup no matter what. I visited Australia earlier this year and had the absolute best coffee I've ever tried in my life. I purchased an espresso machine upon my return and have tried many coffee roasters in BC, but none compare to the quality, flavor, and smoothness of Lonetree. It makes me feel like I'm in Australia again!
